OUR VOLUNTEERS' GALLERY

Here are some of our volunteers at work for Charlotte County Cancer

Here is Norma Neves, Dickie Morgan, Shelley Griffin and Heather Brown, the organizing committee for
the wonderfully successful Grand Manan curling bonspiel held on Feb 18, 2012 .   Over $3,200 was raised with more money expected.
A great big "THANK YOU!" to all of our Grand Manan supporters!

Kathy Walker was the very lucky winner of the quilt created by Pam Polkey and friends in St. Andrews.
Kathy is very pleased with her win.....just in time for Christmas.
We also send special thanks to Ruth Laycock and friends, Pearldena Theriault and Pam Polkey for selling tickets.   Thank You!

The Knights of Pythias International Order # 61 of St. Stephen raised $2,947 through the sale of raffle tickets and
donated the funds to CCC in recognition of the work it does to support cancer patients and their families in the county.
Lodge member Ernie Richards, right, presented the funds to Winnifred Young, representing the board of directors of CCC.

Money Saver donates $700+ to the cause.   Pictured from the left, Susie Wood of the MoneySaver, Charlotte Eddy-Lloyd a director of CCC,
Cindy Ganong of the MoneySaver and Winnifred Young of CCC.  These funds represent 25% of the proceeds from the
Breast Cancer Awareness Section in the October 6 edition of the Money Saver.   Well done!

Youngsters who walked for the cause were presented with certificates.

Ruth Seamone – at the St Andrews Market on September 8, 2011.
Ruth sold raffle tickets on a hand made throw in support of the Walk Cause We Care, 2011.
This was her way of supporting the cause.

The Freedom Fighters (freedom from cancer) are a group that raises money for Charlotte County Cancer.
With the help of Barry Anderson, they held a barbecue in St. Stephen in preparation for the Walk on October 1st, 2010.

The Bountiful Bra Exhibit (May, 2010) was a unqualified success.
A heartfelt 'thank you' to Sunbury Shores for being so gracious and accommodating.
Without doubt the community got to see some very unique art and we all had fun for a very good cause.
See more bra photos at this link.
